What is SSR?
Solid State Relays (SSRs) are electronic switches that enable the control of high-power devices seamlessly. Unlike traditional switches that require human intervention, SSRs operate electronically, making them ideal for controlling high-current appliances or lights with low-current signals. These devices are engineered to activate with a voltage as low as 3V, making them perfect for use with various digital output devices, such as Phidget Interface Kits.
SSRs perform the same job as Mechanical Relays, but have the following advantages:
