Experience the prowess of the 2A Industrial Solid State Relay (HHG1-/032F-22\38 1-4A SSR-DA), a marvel of modern engineering.
Remarks:
1. Ensure your input power is always DC Voltage while the output power should be AC Voltage for optimal performance.
2. For a seamless experience, please ensure correct connections for both input and output power, respecting polarity.
3. For loads exceeding 10 Amps, it is crucial to mount the SSR onto a heat sink to maintain efficiency. For loads over 80 Amps, consider using fan-cooling or water-cooling systems to prevent overheating.
Feature:
Explore the future with no-contact relays utilizing semiconductors for unparalleled speed and frequency operations.
Fully RoHS compliant, ensuring adherence to the highest environmental and safety standards.
Customize with models available that feature no zero cross.
Boasts replaceable power elements for ease of maintenance and longevity.
Conforms rigorously to cULus and CE standards, ensuring superior international compliance.
What is SSR?
Solid State Relays (SSRs) are electronic switches that enable the control of high-power devices seamlessly. Unlike traditional switches that require human intervention, SSRs operate electronically, making them ideal for controlling high-current appliances or lights with low-current signals. These devices are engineered to activate with a voltage as low as 3V, making them perfect for use with various digital output devices, such as Phidget Interface Kits.
SSRs perform the same job as Mechanical Relays, but have the following advantages:
Enjoy reduced electromagnetic interference compared to mechanical relays, thanks to the absence of contact arcing-a common occurrence in mechanical switches. The lack of electromagnets further minimizes interference.
Mechanical relay contacts degrade over time due to arcing, but SSRs boast a digital core for extended life, enduring millions of cycles.
Benefit from faster switching times with SSRs, which are approximately ten times quicker than mechanical relays.
SSRs offer enhanced resilience to physical vibrations, outperforming their mechanical counterparts.
With no mechanical components, SSRs eliminate contact bounce, ensuring silent and seamless operations.
How does it work?
At the heart of the SSR's operation is an optocoupler, which bridges the control inputs to the relay load via an LED and light sensors. When the LED illuminates the sensor, transistors either open or close, allowing current to connect or disconnect the power supply from the load. This sophisticated mechanism ensures reliable and isolated circuit connections.
