Understanding SSR (Solid State Relay):
Solid State Relays (SSRs) are electronic switching devices that turn power on or off to other devices, akin to a mechanical switch but activated electronically. They enable control over high-current devices-like lighting or appliances-using low-current signals, such as a standard DC signal emitted from a Digital Output. Most SSRs activate at a voltage of 3V or higher, making them ideal for integration with Phidget Interface Kits or any digital outputenabled device.

- During operation, SSRs generate significantly less electromagnetic interference compared to mechanical relays. How SSRs Function:
Internally, control inputs connect to an LED, which emits light across an air gap to reach sensors. These sensors link to transistors that manage the relay's load power. When a transistor is closed, it allows current to flow seamlessly, connecting the load to the power source. Conversely, when a transistor is open, it blocks nearly all current, disconnecting the load from the power source.
